Hiked about 8 miles this morning into Casa de Luna. The reason it has that name is that generally you have been on the trail about a month and when you arrived at the home of the these trail angels Bill and Terri Anderson. When you arrive you are to put on a Hawaiian shirt and the sit back and relax. Also sign the banner, paint a rock and you toes if you wish. You set up camp in mystical manicured manzanita forest. Terri had me sit the recliner and then she did offered me a cream soda. I could’ve melted in the chair. I sit in my recliner at home often times but never really appreciated it as much as I did today. There were about 20 of us there for dinner. They fix just a wonderful taco salad. After dinner we were encouraged to dance to some groovy music and we were awarded a PCT bandanna for participation. Hikers sat around socialize for a while and then went off to bed.
