6/9/18 It was cold last night. My new sleeping bag worked fine but my wet shoes and socks frozen solid. Fortunately I had one dry pair of socks.
Today’s goal was to climb Glen Pass (12000 ft) go to the Ray Lakes area for lunch, dry equipment and continue on to get set up for the next pass.
Got to the top of the pass at 11 AM so the snow wasn’t too soft while descending the northside.
A lot people on the trail now doing the Ray Lakes loop.
Weather was great today and able to go 15 1/2 miles.
