With limited WiFi, cell phone coverage, conservation of battery power and pushing hard to finish before weather got to difficult to continue I got behind on my blog.

I am happy to say I made it to the Northern Terminus of the PCT and then on 8 miles to Manning Provincial Park in BC Canada. It has been an amazing and challenging journey. I have met and made friends with people from all over the world. I have seen the landscape change from desert to to the High Sierras, to the Tahoe Rim. From the volcanic regions of Northern California and Oregon to the Hemlock and Silver tip fir forest of Oregon and Washington. From the Middle and Northern Cascades of Washington to Canadian boarder and beyond.

  1. Congratulations Jack! We received your card and were wondering what day you would make it. Dare told us yesterday at Church that you were planning to finish yesterday at 1:40 in the afternoon. We all celebrated with you here at home. Looking forward to seeing you!

  2. Fantastic! I see it was raining at the finish. No problem for you!
